FAITH EXPERIENCES DEEPEN WHEN ENGAGED IN LEARNING
Faith Formation
Faith Formation ministries at Plymouth work in partnership with social justice and service ministries to offer opportunities to renew, strengthen and give of one’s gifts and talents in service of others. Faith Formation ministries focus on activities for spiritual exploration, learning and practice.
Adult Education Board
The Adult Education Board participates in planning Sunday's Faith & Life 10 o'clock hour. Topics vary in nature, and are designed to inspire, motivate and engage the Plymouth community to grow and live into their faith.
Children & Youth Board
The Children and Youth Board help guide and nurture spiritual education of Plymouth’s children and youth. It works closely with Director of Faith Formation and other staff to implement programming that includes Sunday School, Confirmation (7th–8th grade) and YF (High School).
Teach Sunday School
Volunteers teach Sunday School to give back and to nurture our youth.
Young Adult Ministry
Young Adults are living out the UCC vision of making this faith their own. Activities they are currently involved in are social justice issues around Undoing Institutional Racism and Immigration Ministry; worship planning; serving communion and more.

Teachers have the opportunity to deepen their own faith and spiritual growth while affecting positive change in children & youth. Teachers are supported with materials, supplemental resources, scheduling and more by the Director of Faith Formation.
TIME COMMITMENT
2-3 hours/week September through mid-December, then February through mid-June for planning, scheduling and teaching; attend approximately 3 meetings/year.
